OUR AIM

ASPIRE – CHALLENGE – EXCEL

At St Neots Community College, our aim is to give all of our students the best chances to achieve their full potential – whether academically, in sports or the Arts.  We aim to develop the whole person.

We have fantastic teachers who are committed to deliver consistently good lessons, as recently evidenced by OfSTED.  Staff also offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including clubs, catch up sessions and small group work to help our students get the best out of their time at school.

The College is improving, and we are confident that we will emerge from Special Measures a stronger school.

This website provides a key link between the school and parents, as well as the local community.

Please do visit us on a regular basis – we are developing our website constantly and adding more information about each subject on a weekly basis.  The letters home page is also updated regularly, showing all letters sent out via your child.

CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT...
We are really excited with the development of our 'Virtual Learning Environment' – this system allows students to access their work from home if they are unable to attend college for whatever reason, and keep up to date with their learning. Students are able to send in their homework using this service and, once marked, will be able to see how they have done and read any comments their teacher has given them.  All this is in a secure and password controlled area.

The core subjects (English, Maths, Science and ICT) will be using this service by September 2010, with other subject areas coming on stream shortly afterwards.
